Tripadvisor Review May 2015 "We stayed here in early May as part of an activity weekend in a group of 14. The 2 cottages in which we stayed were spotlessly clean and a 'welcome pack' awaited our arrival. The rooms were bright, spacious and nicely decorated. A very large dining area in cottage 2 allowed all 14 of us to eat at the same table which was an unexpected bonus. The youngest member of our group - a 2 year old boy - was thrilled to be able to see the level crossing on the railway from the kitchen area and watched for the flashing lights which signalled an approaching train. The cottage must be well insulated because passing trains didn't bother us. The manager, Mark, is a gentleman and looked after us from the word 'go'. Furthermore, Mark went to the trouble of locating a charger which I had left behind and posting it out to me. Our group travel to competitions throughout the UK, Ireland and parts of the continent - we have an informal competition for 'House of the Year' and Ballycanal is leading the race, thus far this year - it's perfect for large groups, with immediate access to a good road network." Thanks Mark! Stayed May 2015, travelled with friends
